  HJR 1:  USE OF INITIATIVE TO AMEND CONSTITUTION

  CHAIRMAN VEZEY read the titles of HJR 8, HJR 1, and HJR 7;                   
  and invited comments regarding those bills.

  REPRESENTATIVE HARLEY OLBERG favored the process yet still                   
  had concerns regarding the Permanent Fund.  He asked the                     
  committee to move HJR 1 with individual recommendations.  A                  
  roll call was taken with four yeas and two neas.  So HJR 1                   
  passed with Representatives Vezey, Olberg, G. Davis, Kott                    
  signing do pass and Representatives Ulmer and B. Davis                       
  signing do not pass.
